Spiritual Awakening
Creation stories span the globe: God, Ra, Brahma, Nebertcher, Obatala all created. The stories did not stop there. The created began creating and changing in countless ways.
Atoms are ever-moving. So, regardless of one's attempt to "be still," WE are ever-moving. Atom-contained energy can slow down, but it is never "still"...even at Zero degrees as some be-LIE-ve.
It is not possible to take a break from inter-acting with others. Even if I withdrew to the highest mountain away from all people, simply in-spiring/ inhaling and ex-spiring/exhaling, simply connects me to every force in existence.
At all times, the forces within us are creating and affecting every other force on the planet. "Standing for something or falling for any thing," offers more than what appears in this old adage. It reminds us that no matter what, we are always adding onto the efforts of others.
The spiritual "movements" or lessons of our time, in "ignore-ance," pushes the belief that our inner spirits should be our only focus. We buy into the myth that if we only focus within, then all the troubles of the world will end.
Our bloodline carries our ancestors who carry us. Each family consists of many components- from spiritual to physical- and at the end of the day, each person has their own "response-abilities." Over time however, helping each other has almost slowed to the speed of an atom moving at Zero degrees.
What rituals or spells can we use to move forward? In the blogtalk radio show, "Spiritual Awakening," Chief Yuya had this to say:
“The greatest ritual, the greatest spell that you can do [to help others] is to utilize and invoke your own compassion. That feeling you receive when something comes across your path in your life journey that pricks your heart so deep and so hard that it causes you to really question the direction you’re currently going in. It may even make you drop your current load, to go assist and make you do things that may help to alleviate someone else’s struggle or help transition them to the next place."
Many of us trust that the micro-cosm reflects the macro-cosm: As above, so below. Our knowledge that the universe is in constant motion, however, does not translate so easily into our lives. Some of us have not made a major move in our personal life in decades. Some of us live in failing communities where we do not lift a finger to improve what is around us.
Unless we are using what we know to create a better self, family, and village, then our time spent studying for countless hours has been wasted.
